Emergencies can happen anytime and anywhere—from your day-to-day work to dining rooms, guest spaces, or at home. Standard First Aid and CPR-C Training, delivered in accordance with Canadian Red Cross standards, gives you the skills and confidence to respond quickly, safely, and effectively in critical situations.

Standard First Aid and CPR-C Training, delivered in accordance with Canadian Red Cross standards, gives you the skills and confidence to respond quickly, safely, and effectively in critical situations.
This training provides essential First Aid and CPR training for individuals who require certification for work or who want to feel prepared to respond to emergencies both on and off the job. You’ll learn how to recognize emergencies, provide immediate care, and act when it matters most.
Upon completion of the training, participants will receive a certification valid for 3 years.
Note: Must be a member of UNITE HERE! Local 75
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN
- How to recognize and respond to emergencies
- The Check, Call, Care approach
- CPR-C and AED techniques for adults, children, and infants
- First Aid skills managing injuries, bleeding, choking, and sudden illness
- Responding to poisonings and environmental emergencies

ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a member of UNITE HERE! Local 75
- Currently working in the hospitality industry
- Certification requires full participation, 100% attendance, a demonstration of required skills and 75% score on test
